SELECTED ARTWORK
Illustration.
Portraits, characters, and scenes drawn from everyday life and imagination. This is the visual side of my practice, shown alongside my marketing work.
COMMISSIONED PROJECT / SYNDIO
Portraits for a
purposeful gathering.
Syndio commissioned this portrait series for an executive dinner in New York City bringing CEOs together to discuss workplace equity. The gathering was designed to highlight Black-owned businesses and bring their work to the table.
The brief envisioned a takeaway manifesto pairing illustrated faces with guests’ public quotes on boldness, humor, and love. I created a coordinated series of portraits with individual color palettes and patterned backgrounds, bringing a personal, expressive touch to the gathering.
CALL FOR ART / BROOKLYN PUBLIC LIBRARY
Brooklyn, in
full color.
I entered Brooklyn Public Library’s Black American Library Card call for art with a playful illustration celebrating the borough. Bagels, pizza, brownstones, an open book, and an excited child bring Brooklyn’s everyday character and the joy of reading into one design.
The Library’s selection committee named my artwork one of 12 finalists from more than 400 submitted designs. In its finalist notification, the team praised the illustration’s playful energy and how clearly it expressed Brooklyn.

ADULT PICTURE BOOK / 2022
Cats are Trash
Human Beings.
In 2022, I was invited to contribute illustrations to the adult picture book Cats are Trash Human Beings. I completed a series of expressive feline characters, bringing human personalities to life through cats.
Bold color, distinctive costumes, and playful details give each character its own presence. The completed illustrations are collected here as one project.
